Our ambition is to create a day with space for many voices
The Business of the Arts summit brings together people shaping the future of not-for-profit, and purpose-driven, arts organisations. It’s for those balancing artistic and social ambition with financial reality every day. The day combines expert-led presentations, and roundtables chosen and guided by you.
Whether you work in the arts or heritage – if you’re selling tickets and making tough decisions about budgets, priorities, income and mission, this event is for you. The event is likely to be best-suited to building-based organisations.
Who should attend?
Business of the Arts is designed around the needs of:
- Chief executives and deputies
- Executive producers
- Board chairs and trading subsidiary chairs
- Heads of finance
- Heads of commercial / trading
- Heads of marketing
Expect interactive round tables, practical case studies, and on-the-day voting to keep the content directly relevant. You’ll contribute ideas, hear from peers navigating real challenges, and leave with connections and insights you can use immediately. Starting as we mean to go on, you can vote on the programme themes now, or volunteer a presentation / roundtable conversation starter.
What makes the summit different?
- Created with you – including an open call for papers, programme voting, and multiple roundtables
- Award-winning ideas – we’ll close the day with the inaugural Arts Professional Awards
- Cross-artform community – bringing together organisations from across the UK with shared business challenges
- Affordable pricing – with earlybird rates, bursaries, and special access for AP subscribers
A venue that fits the mission
Held at London’s historic Conway Hall – a venue with its own not-for-profit heritage and long-standing support for the arts – the summit offers a full day of thought-provoking content, peer-led sessions, catering throughout, and evening drinks to close.
